Enemies: Distant Cousins To Jews

Science revealed 26 years ago that they discovered the fact that the very causes of Wars that Israel has had to defend itself from has been caused by the very people told about in our Bible !  Today they are the Syrians, Palestinians and Lebanese.  

The reason I give for listing Syrians first is that many Palestinians said they were Syrian Palestinians, coming to Israel from Syria where life for them was too hard.  Palestinians living in Israel had come from Syria, basically, and then many other surrounding countries, too.  Reference, Joan Peters wrote the 1984 book From Time Immemorial: The Origins of the Arab-Jewish Conflict over Palestine, Late Migration: Peters argued that many Arab residents were not indigenous to the area "from time immemorial," but rather recent economic migrants who arrived in Palestine starting in the late 1800s and early 1900s, often drawn by development from Jewish settlement.

On May 9, 2000, this was revealed in the Science Daily Article:  Jews Are The Genetic Brothers Of Palestinians, Syrians, And Lebanese. The Y chromosome (male)  was studied in 1,371 men from 29 world-wide populations, Jews and non-Jews from the Middle East, North Africa, Sub- Saharan Africa, and Europe.   

It showed we share a common ancestor and are more closely related to one another than to non-Jews from other areas of the world.                                   

Two women living in the same camp; one a slave having given birth before the true wife, and the story is set up with resentment, and jealousy, for this older son of a slave is not getting the respect and love he needs from his father.  We have many fathers facing such a story today, with families from 2 different wives.

Found in Book of Genesis (spanning from Genesis 11:27 through Genesis 25:10).

Abram/Abraham: Patriarch of Jews and many Arabian tribes who lived in 1948 BCE, the 2nd millennium, son of Terah, father of Isaac-by Sarah and Ishmael by his concubine Hagar .  He left his birthplace in Ur of the Chaldees and pitched a tent among the Canaanite and Philistine people of Eretz Yisrael;  visited Egypt, returned to live in Hebron.  He fought saving his nephew, Lot from people he tried to  live with-of king of Elam, another king of Shinar, and they had allies, terrible people.

The First Split (Ishmael vs. Isaac): Abraham had his first son, Ishmael, with Hagar, the slave of his wife. However, God established the covenant through Abraham's second son, Isaac, born to his wife-who was also his niece,  Sarah. Ishmael became the patriarch of the Ishmaelites (associated with Arab nations), while Isaac carried the promise forward.             

                                      Our Deception

Though  this shows deception, it was for a good cause of selecting someone to do the better job of a higher level of leadership, and it happened just like it could today in any family.   

The split of family lines was recorded in the bible several times on different occasions.  One time was   the story of Jacob and Esau (along with their father, Isaac), though it involves two different famous family incidents in the Book of Genesis:

 These twins were not identical ones; but carried different genes causing:  Isaac was their father, son of Abraham. Isaac favored Esau and the mother favored Jacob.  They were showing favoritism which caused the whole problem setting up wars in the future.   Jacob used threatening and then lying to get the outcome he wanted, caused by the urging of his mother!!!.  As a young person, Jacob was a mama's boy, doing the cooking while Esau was doing the hunting which Isaac saw, as the manly one.  This caused a family line separation. 

• The Meal for Esau (Genesis 25): Jacob cooked a red lentil stew. When Esau came in exhausted from the field and begged for food, Jacob made him sell his firstborn birthright in exchange for the meal. (They were fraternal twins)
The Stolen Blessing / Deception (Genesis 27): Later, when their elderly father Isaac was blind and thought he was dying, he asked Esau to hunt game and bring him a meal so he could bless him. Encouraged by their mother, Rebekah, Jacob disguised himself in Esau’s clothes (and goat skins to feel hairy), brought the food to Isaac, and lied, claiming to be Esau in order to steal the primary family blessing.


What amazes me is the information has been here for us to read all along.  The set-up of the story is amazing in explaining these important differences in people divided for so long a period. It's told so honestly, not covering up these mistakes the Israelites (Jews) made with their brothers.   It's so convoluted, proving its true, people then could not make up such stories.  This is what was told to Moses who wrote it all down. (1391-1271 BCE)
