Stephen Kevin Bannon, born in 1953, is the man of the hour who started a movement that was based on a lie. He was the prime motivator for Donald Trump, till he fell out of favor for gaining more press and importance than his client friend, Donald Trump. Banner isn't even a lawyer, yet Trump listened to him like he was. He has been in TV production, investment banking, and the Navy. He spins a fine story, evidently.According to CNN, Bannon studied and used Nazi type communication methods and also their propaganda narrative methods. He was the one that used phrases over and over, like DRAIN THE SWAMP, FLOOD THE ZONE, He was never in politics himself but manipulated it. He treated politics more like a messianic movement and got results. He said things, then went about proving it with false information.
Bannon in 2010Findings show that January 6th was all planned before hand like a football play, at least by Bannon and Trump knew the game play.
Bannon was held in contempt of Congress in October 2021 after defying a subpoena by the House of Representatives committee investigating the 2021 United States Capitol attack. He was indicted by a federal grand jury on two criminal contempt charges on November 12, 2021, and turned himself in to authorities, three days later. On April 6, 2022, Bannon lost an appeal regarding his failure to testify before the January 6 House committee.
The Steve Bannon Contempt TrialThe thrust in Congress and on TV is all about what happened on January 5th -
6th and that Bannon has been subpoenaed to speak truthfully before a
congressional committee. Bannon has promised much to reporters, then
never showed up or kept his promise. He would need to be hooked up to a lie
detector test to be sure of telling the truth these days. Example is the story
told to the Wall Street Journal about his father, Marty Bannon, Catholic and 95
years old.
He grew up in a working-class family which was pro-Kennedy and pro-union Democrat. He is of Irish, and some German, descent. Much of his mother's side of the family settled in the Baltimore area, a hotspot for German arrivals to America throughout the 19th Century. Trump is of Scotch and German descent.
Bannon was a founding member of the board of Breitbart News, a far-right news, opinion and commentary website. Philip Elliott and Zeke J. Miller of Time have said that the site has "pushed racist, sexist, xenophobic and antisemitic material into the vein of the alternative right".
Bannon said that Breitbart's ideological mix included libertarians, Zionists, the conservative gay community, same-sex marriage opponents, economic nationalists, populists, as well as the alt-right, with the alt-right comprising a very small proportion overall. The Unite the Right marchers aren’t alone, according to brand new research. One study said that 11 million Americans think like the alt-right.
"Conceding the alt-right holds views with "racial and anti-Semitic overtones," Bannon said he has zero tolerance for such views. " That hasn't stopped him from courting and using such people as followers in his movement.
"Andrew James Breitbart was the owner of Breitbart News. Breitbart was born to Irish American parents in Los Angeles on February 1, 1969. According to his birth certificate, his biological father was a folk singer. When he was three weeks old, he was adopted by Gerald and Arlene Breitbart, a Jewish restaurant owner and banker respectively, and grew up in the affluent neighborhood of Brentwood. "
"His adoptive family, Breitbart, was Jewish; his mother had converted to Judaism when marrying his father. Andrew Breitbart studied at Hebrew school and had a Bar Mitzvah." Theologically he was an agnostic, as many people are of all religions these days. It's good to be scientific, as I'm finding so many that aren't, but not good to be without a moral compass with standards and structure.
In March 2012, after founder Andrew Breitbart's death , Bannon became executive chairman of Breitbart News LLC, the parent company of Breitbart News.
Under his leadership, Breitbart's editorial tone became more nationalistic, and also became increasingly friendly to the alt-right. In 2016, Bannon declared the website "the platform for the alt-right". Speaking about his role at Breitbart, Bannon said, "We think of ourselves as virulently anti-establishment, particularly 'anti-' the permanent political class."
Ben Shapiro, a former Breitbart editor and colleague of Bannon, called Bannon a "'bully' who 'sold out [Breitbart founder] Andrew's mission in order to back another bully, Donald Trump.'" Benjamin Aaron Shapiro b: 1984) is an American conservative political commentator, media host, attorney, and columnist. At age 17, he became the youngest nationally syndicated columnist in the United States. Shapiro writes columns for Creators Syndicate, Newsweek, and Ami Magazine, serves as editor emeritus for The Daily Wire, which he founded, and hosts The Ben Shapiro Show, a daily political podcast and live radio show. He was editor-at-large of Breitbart News between 2012 and 2016. Shapiro has written eleven books.
"Bannon has defended Trump's ties to and praise for Russian President Vladimir Putin. He expressed a belief that Traditionalists see Russia as an ally. Bannon said they "believe that at least Putin is standing up for traditional institutions, and he's trying to do it in a form of nationalism—and I think that people, particularly in certain countries, want to see the sovereignty for their country. They want to see nationalism for their country" rather than a "pan-European Union". According to the book War for Eternity, Bannon met notorious Russian ideologue Aleksandr Dugin in Rome in 2018 to advocate closer relations between the United States and Russia, as well as Traditionalist philosophy." Hasn't Bannon ever heard of Communist philosophy? That's
what it is. He's doing it again, replacing Communist with Traditionalist.
Bennie Thompson had charged him with contempt.
Bennie Gordon Thompson is an American politician serving as the U.S. representative for Mississippi's 2nd congressional district since 1993. A member of the Democratic Party, Thompson has been the chair of the Committee on Homeland Security since 2019 and from 2007 to 2011. He's requested Bannon's presence which Bannon has snubbed. Since Trump has pardoned him, he thinks of himself as a gifted man, no doubt. Bannon wanted Thompson to meet him outside, but of course, he didn't, as shown on CNN, TV scene. Bannon is still trying to call the shots. He seems to like the control.
