It's maddening! The UN's newest report on the 2021 attack of Hamas on Israel, blames Israel for "Occupying Palestine!" Who are they representing? The Palestinians, of course.

Such headlines said, "UN-mandated rights inquiry rebukes Israel for seeking 'complete control," They deny Israel the fact that Jerusalem is unified, a proper city with one mayor, and Israeli law prevails. The Jordanian barbed wire has been taken down.
This was from "GENEVA/JERUSALEM, June 7 (Reuters) - An independent commission of inquiry set up by the U.N. Human Rights Council after the 2021 Gaza war said Israel must do more than end the occupation of land Palestinians want for a state, according to a report released on Tuesday. (today-June 7, 2022). After 1967, they are still in denial, saying that Israel is occupiers. The reason? The Palestinians want the land for a state of their own. There it is in black and white. Documented proof of their goals.
Let me remind the Palestinians; there never was a Palestine. They were interlockers into Palestine at the end of the 1900s, whereas Jews bought land and paid shockingly high prices for it as it meant everything to them. It is the land of OUR ancestors going back 4,000 years! Jews were have the rights to the land both historically, religiously and technically through the League of Nations and the UNITED NATIONS, may I remind them.
There was an Israel. There were kings, our history over 5,000 years ago. We are not a lost and forgotten people. We are the only ancient people besides the Egyptians who have survived the centuries.
Rocket and mortar fire killed 13 people and injured hundreds in Israel
In August, 2021, HRW (Human Rights Watch) issued a report stating that the thousands of rockets fired by the Palestinian militant group Hamas during the 11-day war with Israel "violated the laws of war and amount to war crimes."
Financier and philanthropist George Soros of the Open Society Foundations announced in 2010 his intention to grant US$100 million to HRW over a period of ten years to help it expand its efforts internationally: "to be more effective," he said, "I think the organization has to be seen as more international, less an American organization." He continued, "Human Rights Watch is one of the most effective organizations I support. George Soros may be Jewish himself, a victim of the Holocaust, but he is no friend of Israel, why? Unfathomable to understand. Maybe he blames his ancestors for the Holocaust and what he had to witness, for he didn't suffer like many did.
Investigations were made into Hamas rocket attacks that killed 12 civilians in Israel, as well as a misfired rocket that killed seven Palestinians inside the Gaza Strip .
The crisis was triggered on 6 May, when Palestinians in East Jerusalem began protesting over an anticipated decision of the Supreme Court of Israel on the eviction of six Palestinian families in the neighborhood of Sheikh Jarrah.
Around 4,360 Palestinian rockets were fired towards Israel, of which 680 landed within the Gaza Strip, and over 90 percent of rockets bound towards populated areas were intercepted by Israel's Iron Dome.
Israel conducted around 1,500 aerial, land, and sea strikes on the Gaza Strip.
The following information is from Wikipedia, stating May instead of August, as other newscasters stated.
Calls for a ceasefire were first proposed on 13 May by Hamas, but rejected by erstwhile Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu. On 18 May, France, along with Egypt and Jordan, announced the filing of a United Nations Security Council resolution for a ceasefire. Egypt mediated a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, which came into effect on 21 May 2021, ending 11 days of fighting in which both sides claimed victory.
On 16 June 2021, incendiary balloons were launched from Gaza into Israel, which the Israeli Air Force responded to with multiple airstrikes in the Gaza Strip, resuming the fighting.
Professor Eugene Kontorovich, expert on international law
Under the misunderstood international law, the area, effectively annexed by Israel in 1980, is thought to be a part of the Palestinian Territories by the Palestinians there; but that isn't Israeli law which goes according to a different understanding and interpretation, Jerusalem is a unified city and the capital of Israel once again. Israel applies its laws there. Professor Kontorovich defends Israel on this point, explaining the international law.
This is one point where American lawyers want to pull their hair out when they make aliyah to Israel. Israel is made up of many laws from different eras that are still on the books. Many from the Ottoman era are still in play.
Israeli police officers in Lod, Israel, 11 May Today, Lod is one of Israel's mixed cities, with an Arab population of 30%.
Israel's main international airport, Ben Gurion Airport (previously known as Lydda Airport, RAF Lydda, and Lod Airport) is located on the outskirts of the city.
On 7 May, according to Israel's Channel 12, Palestinians threw stones at Israeli police forces, who then stormed the compound of the al-Aqsa Mosque using tear gas, rubber bullets, and stun grenades. The crisis prompted protests around the world as well as official reactions from world leaders.
I give up. I must have happened in May. I can't remember the month, only the attack.
