“Israel stands at a crossroads,” says long-serving former senior minister Tzahi Hanegbi. “We have no more than three, four, five months at most for destroying Iran’s nuclear facilities,” he warned.. “After that, Israel will be confronted for the first time by a fanatical country full of hate and armed with a weapon of mass destruction.”
The Vienna negotiations halted in June ahead of Iran's election that brought hard-line President Ebrahim Raisi to power. The talks, which do not directly involve the U.S. because President Donald Trump withdrew from the nuclear deal in 2018, have languished since despite the stated intentions of both Washington and Tehran to return to compliance with the agreement.
The USA and Iran are scheduled to have a get-together on November 29, 2021. That's on the first day of Chanukah. Israel will not be there. They are getting ready for the worst outcome. The announcement of indirect negotiations in Vienna comes as pressure mounts on Iran, with western nations warning that Tehran’s nuclear work is advancing to dangerous levels and Israel is threatening to attack.
Earlier Wednesday, Ali Shamkhani, the head of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, warned Washington that the outcome of Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) negotiations with Tehran will be "clear," unless the US is "ready to give some guarantees."

Ali Bagheri is the son of Mohammad-Bagher Bagheri, a former member of the Assembly of Experts and also nephew of Mohammad-Reza Mahdavi Kani. He has been a diplomat since 1990..He is not able to speak English, only speaks Persian (Farsi).Following a Wednesday call with the European Union's Enrique Mora, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri took to social media to announce that JCPOA negotiations are set to resume on November 29 in Vienna, Austria.
"We'll resume for a seventh round on Monday, November 29. Special Envoy (for Iran Robert) Malley will again lead the U.S. participation in these talks," Ned Price, U.S. State Department spokesman said. Malley, born in 1963, is an American lawyer, political scientist and specialist in conflict resolution, who was the lead negotiator on the 2015 Iran nuclear deal known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA). He is currently the U.S. Special Representative to Iran, tasked with bringing the United States and Iran into compliance with the Iran nuclear deal abandoned by President Donald Trump. This meeting occurs on the first day of Chanukah when Judaism was threatened by the Syrian-Greeks who had taken over Solomon's Temple. The eternal lamp of oil had almost gone out and runners had to fetch more. In the meantime, the lamp kept burning for the 8 days it took the runners to find oil and return. It was a miracle and a sign. A small band was able to overcome these foreigners who had placed idols in the Temple, and save their religion by ridding Jerusalem of them and keeping their population alive. If Judaism had been brought to an end, defended by Judah Maccabee and his sons and associates in 168 BCE, then there may not have been any Christianity, either, for the 1st Christians were some Jews. Mohammad would not have met any Jews in Arabia, then, most likely. The Jewish tribes there had been important to the development of his thoughts. We'd all be back to the polytheistic religion of the Syrian-Greeks! Oy vey! And here we are again, hoping that Malley does his best.
