Right now is May 5, 2019. On the 14th is Israel's 71st birthday. Israel is being hit by 600-800 rockets so far in the last few days from Gaza. An article I just read about being hit was written in 2014. Israel has been undergoing attacks from Gaza ever since they left it for them in a peaceful overture.
Israel gave up Gaza in 2005 for the sake of peace and gave it to the Palestinians. It was not what these Arabs had in mind. They've been shooting rockets, mortars and missiles into Israel ever since. The problem now is that they have rockets that can reach every nook and corner of Israel. They have friends who supply them with money for weapons. Peace has become Israel's pie in the sky.
Here was the news in 2014: While thousands of Israeli troops scour the West Bank for a trio of teens kidnapped by Hamas a week ago, Palestinian terrorists in the Gaza Strip have bombarded southern Israel with rocket fire for the last six nights.

Bet you didn’t hear much about it in the news, right?
One of the Kassams slammed into a home on Kibbutz Shaar Hanegev Wednesday night, although, thankfully, there were no physical injuries in the latest salvo.
Just yesterday we read this: "GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip (AP) — Palestinian militants on Saturday fired over 250 rockets into Israel, drawing dozens of retaliatory airstrikes on targets across the Gaza Strip in a round of heavy fighting that broke a month-long lull between the enemies. Six Palestinians, including a pregnant mother and her baby, were killed, while four Israelis were wounded, including an elderly man who was in a critical condition."
Israel goes the extra mile in defending her citizens with bomb shelters and warning sirens, giving people a few seconds worth of time to make it to a shelter. Since the Palestinians in Gaza are always the attackers, they evidently don't bother to tell their people to get prepared for retaliation. The more Palestinians are injured or killed they seem to like it more as it's something they use to hold over Israelis' heads though they hit back defensively.
Just 13 hours ago this came over the wires: JERUSALEM (AP)" — Gaza militants fired hundreds of rockets into southern Israel on Sunday, killing at least four Israelis and bringing life to a standstill across the region in the bloodiest fighting since a 2014 war. As Israel pounded Gaza with airstrikes, the Palestinian death toll rose to 23, including two pregnant women and two babies.
The bloodshed marked the first Israeli fatalities from rocket fire since the 2014 war. With Palestinian militants threatening to send rockets deeper into Israel and Israeli reinforcements massing near the Gaza frontier, the fighting showed no signs of slowing down." "Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spent most of the day huddled with his Security Cabinet. Late Sunday, the Cabinet instructed the army to "continue its attacks and to stand by" for further orders. Israel also claimed to have killed a Hamas commander involved in transferring Iranian funds to the group."
As 600 rockets had fallen into Israel, "Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered "massive strikes" against militant groups in Gaza on Sunday in response to a barrage of rocket fire, stretching hostilities into a third day and leading to mounting casualties on both sides.

At a cabinet meeting on Sunday Netanyahu said he also instructed military leaders to boost tank artillery and infantry forces around the Gaza Strip.
"Hamas bears responsibility not only for its own attacks and actions but also those by Islamic Jihad, for which it pays a very high price," he said." Now I hear the number is over 600-more like 800.
Daily Mail seems to have the latest report of 600 rockets fired from Gaza into Israel:
