Jerusalem, City of David |
Jerusalem-Our capital of Israel. Once King David's capital; where his son Solomon made such wise declarations. The City of David. Jerusalem was divided at one time after 1948 when Jordan held East Jerusalem, but not after 1967's SIX DAY WAR. Then Israel surprised everyone and won against the odds that even the best gamblers wouldn't have taken. Why, it was as if G-d himself helped out Israel.

Tower of David in Jerusalem |
Because Jews have returned and have taken possession of their land and Jerusalem again, Arabs such as Fatah and Hamas, who are threatening to create Palestine out of Judea, Samaria, Gaza and East Jerusalem, are doing every conniving thing they can muster up to take forcefully, Jerusalem. They will never stop with just East Jerusalem. Their intent is to destroy Israel so they can be the power over it and in that, kill all the Jews.

Israel regained what Jordan had helped themselves to in 1948 during the War of Independence. It had started on November 29, 1947 with violence by the Arabs in reaction to the UN resolution on Palestine, a 2 state solution- and lasted until the signing of the Armistice Agreements in 1949. Judea, Samaria, all of Jerusalem, and Gaza was to be the Jewish Homeland. For the past 47 years, all of Jerusalem, including east Jerusalem, has been in Israel's domain. Jerusalem is a united city and the capital of Israel. The rest of the world has not had the nerve to recognize this fact. They keep their offices in Tel Aviv.
In 3 more years, ALL OF JERUSALEM will have been in Israel's state as its capital for 50 years, a magic number. 50 years in Judaism commemorates a Jubilee Year; something very special. From Moses himself: Obama has 2 years left of his term. This means that the year starting with a new president would be a Jubilee year as far as having Jerusalem as the capital of Israel; something to be very jubilant about.
"For Six years you may sow your field, and six years you may prune your vineyard; and you may gather in its crop. But the seventh year shall be a complete rest for the land, a Sabbath for Hashem (G-d); your field you shall not sow and your vineyard you shall not prune. The aftergrowth of your harvest you shall not reap and the grapes you had set aside for yourself you shall not pick; it shall be a year of rest for the land. ...You shall count for yourself 7 cycles of sabbatical years, 7 years 7 times; the years of the 7 cycles of sabbatical years shall be for you 49 years. You shall sound a broken blast on the shofar, in the 7th month on the 10th of the month; on the Day of Atonement you shall sound the shofar throughout your land. You shall sanctify the 50th year and proclaim freedom throughout the land for all its inhabitants; it shall be the Jubilee Year for you, you shall return each man to his ancestral heritage and shall return each man to his family. It shall be a Jubilee Year for you--this 50th year...."

Fighting For Survival: Six Day War |
What is beautiful is that Moses-through the word of G-d, gave us a way to not wear out our land 3,324 years ago and the nations other than Israel have just caught on. That's because they have thought that the "Old Testament" was a dead book with nothing applicable in it. After all, Jews have been "replaced" by some Christian denominations today.

Let us hope that by 2017, a year of freedom will also mean something good; a year of freedom from worry about IS or missiles raining down from Gaza, suicide murderers, tunnels into Israel and an end to sudden attacks on Jews in their own homeland and outside by jihadists simply because they are Jewish and because their clerics such as Qaradawi told them to do it.
This period of allowing the land to lie fallow is called Shmita. The most recent Sabbath year began on Rosh Hashanah on September 24, 2014. "Chapter 25 of the Book of Leviticus promises bountiful harvests to those who observe the shmita, and describes its observance as a test of religious faith. There is little notice of the observance of this year in Biblical history and it appears to have been much neglected after the fall of Jerusalem in 70 CE and until Israel was reborn again on May 14, 1948. Since then, it has been observed. Israel will be 67 years old on May 14, 2015. It has already had a Jubilee year celebrated in 1998.

Celebrating Regaining East Jerusalem 1967 with Dancing at Western Wall |
There should be celebrations for reaching its 50th year in 2017. Jerusalem was united as an undivided city on June 29, 1967. The Six Day War had lasted from the 5th to 11th of June 1967. Most wars start from one thing. This one started with Syria's revolution in February 1966, their 9th revolution since 1949. Then Syria, Egypt and the Soviet Union spread false reports of Israeli forces being on the Syrian frontier when the UN were rightly reporting that there was no such existing concentration of forces. It was their pretext to start with 90,000 Egyptians and 900 tanks in the Sinai. Egypt demanded that the UN Emergency Force leave, the human barrier between Egypt and Israel. The Muslims had united with Egypt at the helm and the Arab States of Jordan, Iraq and Syria with their forces against little Israel. Like a pack of dogs after one loner, we heard in their speeches how much they hated us. Their aim was to wipe Israel off the map.

Three Religions Free Under Jewish Law in Jerusalem |
It's taken these past 47 years to find peace, but Egypt, Jordan and Israel have it. We want to keep it. Perhaps our Jubilee Year will be amazing and wonderful for these 3.
