60 Minutes of Bashing Israel Using Christians-by 60 Minutes

You’d think that the good old USA’s major network of CBS would do a real reporter’s job of relating a story on Israel. Instead they are so lazy and biased that they used the Kairos Palestine document that I wrote about on my Wednesday, February 1, 2012 blog, that is an anti-Israel manifesto placing 100% of the Israel-Palestine conflict on Israel, of course.

They have their eye on Jerusalem, and call for a political struggle for Jerusalem. Their thing is to keep calling for the end of “occupation.” Palestinians in Israel manage to enjoy more dignity and rights than most Muslims in any other Arab country. They are only the spokesmen for Hamas and Fatah. They use the argument of:   if there were no occupation, there would be no resistance, and then all could live in peace.

This is omitting the fact that Hamas and other like groups are out for Israel’s destruction using suicide bombs, rockets, missiles and mortars to do so. Some peace! This program also forgot about the religious freedom guaranteed by Israel and the good growth of the Palestinian Christian population in Israel.

Does anyone think that Christians can live and pray in freedom in Muslim countries today? How about what it’s like in Egypt? They’re living a normal life in Israel. This program played Sunday night, April 22nd. It had so many errors that it makes one’s head spin.

One myth was of a declining Christian population. The Christian Arabs living in Judea and Samaria have been increasing, not decreasing. They instead report that the population in Israel is in a state of exodus, blaming Israel, of course, as usual. This shows how much we can believe in a story presented even on national TV.

Folks, check out facts for yourselves. Don’t believe all you see on TV. Like Reed College of Portland, OR pounds in their student’s heads, check the facts, and what are the facts? Where did you get them? What are their beliefs? Where did they get them?
