IRAN'S TERRORIST PARTNERSHIPS AGAINST ISRAEL

Nadene Goldfoot

Iran is the backer of Hamas, a terrorist creation in Gaza, and the Houthi movement of Yemen.  It is an Islamic political and armed movement that emerged from Sa'dah in northern Yemen in the 1990s. The movement was called Houthis because its founder is from the Houthi tribe.  The plan is for the two groups to be against Israel by destroying it and replacing Israel with an Islamic state.

Iran is not an Arab state, but a state disagreeing with most Arabs in their interpretation of Islam and are Shiites, not Sunnis.  They had an 8 year war between Iran and Iraq in the 80s due to this and other competitive reasons when Iraq invaded Iran.

Many Arabs and Muslims are worried that this Hamas-Houthi alliance will lead to this axis group advancing together to attack Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates as well.

Iran wants to expand terror by its axis agents in the Gaza Strip, Yemen, Lebanon, and the United States.  There is no end to Iran's plans that have recently come to light from the Houthis themselves through the political activist, Yaqoub al-Rayssi of the United Arab Emirates, a political activist.

The Houthis in Yemen are right now physically forcing Yemen’s few remaining Jewish citizens out of the country. In addition, Yemen’s Jews are required to sell their homes and property for a pittance before they exit the country.

The Houthis have held missile and drone attacks against Saudi Arabia for the past few years already.   Their slogan is:
Allah is greater, Death to America, Death to Israel, Curse on the Jews, Victory to Islam.  They do not live near Israel, but their hatred comes from this tiny country's unacceptance anywhere of Judaism.  The irony, of course, is that Judaism recognizes only one G-d like Islam, but the teachings of Moses, who they also regard as a prophet.  I guess they throw his teachings out and only listen to their Mohammad.

Hamas and their leader, Ismail Haniyeh, are afraid that they might normalize their relationship with Israel.  They want to expand out of Gaza and be the ones to take their land.  He told the Gazans to build a strategic partnership with all their factions in order to confront Israelis with comprehensive resistance.  This translated,  means to be ready to use suicide bombings, shootings, stabbings and rockets; things they have already been using at different times.

Saudi Arabia has been supporting the government of Yemen against the Houdis for the past 5 years.  Iran has  been trying to take control of Yemen like they have in Lebanon using Hezbollah as well.  Then the Saudis are defending themselves in there against Iran's hold on the entire Peninsula.  The USA are backers of Saudi Arabia.  What a mess!

A meeting was held July 16 in Yemen's capital, Sana'a of Hamas and  Palestinian terrorists.  They spoke of preventing Israel from claiming sovereignty to parts of Judea and Samaria by ceding it and to prevent other Arabs from cooperation with Israel.

The Yeminis feel betrayed because for years they have been supporting the Palestinian cause and then they see Ismail Haniyeh, Gazan Hamas Chief thanking the Houthis who are against the Yeminis.

It's been to Hamas's advantage to keep their own people in a prison-like atmosphere.  All they keep doing for their existence since 2005 is launching rockets toward Israel.  It's not Israel who is provoking them but their leadership.  They could be leading peaceful happy lives.
As for the Houthis, they are an off-shoot of the Shiite Muslims of which Iran joins them in being Shiites.  There are also Shiites in Iraq, but not as many.  Houthis are a minority of Shiites called the Zaydi Shiites or the Twelvers, believing in 12 Imams.  They follow the great grandson of Mohammed's cousin, Ali  who is also his son-in-law.  Ali was martyred in the year 740, and this all stems from then.  This war has been the worst, and most talked about.

Iran doesn't just depend on their atomic energy that they have been working on which could find its way into the heads of their long distance missiles heading for Israel, but all these other terroristic activities like Hamas and now the Houthis, anything to bring down favor in people's eyes of Israel.  They have but one goal;  to destroy Israel and drive her into the sea.  It's a religious war as much as anything.  Iran's people have been at the mercy of the Ayatollahs ever since they drove the Shah of Iran out of his country February 11, 1979.
Ali Khamenei Twelver Shia Marja' and the second and current Supreme Leader of Iran,

While Iran spins their web of hatred and destruction, our lawmakers consider actually giving Iran sanction relief, blind they are as to what goes on.  What would our Middle East friends think about that move?  Does there exist in the USA our own axis group? I note that the big TV stations are not on this.  Is the coronavirus stopping personal work from reporters?  What's happening to the Yemenite Jews is what had happened to German Jews in the 30s.
