Golda Meier had said that when the Arabs loved their children more than they hate us, we would have peace. We're going to have a very long time to wait, evidently, because they are saying that they love death more than we love life.
"Qaradawi, the "Godfather" of the Muslim Brotherhood, teaches that Mohammed's orders are not open to question by 1.5 billion soldiers, Islam's "soldiers." These soldiers or followers are told to obey the prophet, even if he tells you to kill. Such people as Qaradawi interpret the prophet's message in the extreme in many cases. There are more books to go by other than just the Koran and this is how they understand messages. Qaradawi was the Muslim leader kicked out of his homeland, Egypt by Mubarak and found refuge with his friend, the Emir of Qatar. From there he broadcasts his messages all over the world using Al Jazeera TV. His sermon, broadcast on June 10, 2005 said that "The problem with the Jews is not their faith or law, but of greed and the events that led to this Muslim attitude toward the Jews since the time of the Prophet.....ever since they began to covet the holy and blessed land of Palestine."
Qaradawi, a leader of great repute, seems to forget this following fact. Allah says in the Qur’an, "... Do not let hatred for a people incite you into not being just. Be just. That is closer to taqwa” (Surat al-Ma’ida, 8). I don't see that Mohammad followed his own Surat. He allowed his hatred for Jews to seep into his Koran in many instances.
The Koran tells about the Jew hiding and is a well known anti-Semitic teaching. ‘The Jews would hide themselves behind a stone or a tree…’
"It possible that the hiding Jews mentioned in this hadith imply those diplomats, journalists, judges, businessmen, doctors, soldiers, statesmen who infiltrate into states and practice their professions and also serve to the dajjal. ‘…and a stone or a tree would say: ‘Muslim, or the servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me; come and kill him.’ " But according to a past friend, it takes an expert to evaluate the saying by using many other resources.
Qaradawi has allowed himself the luxury of hatred for Jews so much that he has stated that even from his wheelchair he would kill a Jew with his bare hands.
The following is what many Muslims believe. ‘The Last Hour would not come unless the Muslims will fight against the Jews. As can be understood here, the world news today really shows that the Jews fight against Muslims, especially in Palestine. This hadith was revealed more than 1400 years ago and has come true and reminds us that the Last Hour and the end of this world is close at hand." (Note: Jews are fighting Muslims to protect themselves, not that they are starting a fight. The disagreement came about because the Muslims "terrorists" want Israel to disappear and Israel refuses to do so. Thus we see the attacking of rockets, missiles, and mortars and the defense of the IDF in shooting at the sources of these attacks.
Mohammad had it in for Jews because they would not convert to his new religion of Islam. He also felt they sided with those others against him. The 6-7th century was the day of the sword, and he didn't spare it. I believe this is the first time that a religion was created on purpose. Jesus taught but wasn't thinking of creating a new religion apart from Judaism. That happened with his followers. Abraham simply wanted to lead his family-tribe-clan away from Ur where idolatry was practiced and believe in one G-d as he did. Mohammad had his hand in the creation and leadership of his disciples. Moses at age 80 just knew he had to break Egypt's hold on 6 million slaves that they held and lead them away to a new part of the land and teach them what he had received. He didn't create the religion by force but by freedom. Thus Judaism was created. He had to use force all right, but force in fighting through the obstacles that led to a free world, not to force people to believe in his precepts.
Since when has "Palestine become holy to the Muslims, I'd like to know. Jerusalem is their 3rd holy place only because their story is that Mohammad was raised while on his horse to heaven from there. Muslims didn't do anything but build their mosque. Who is the coveter? In my eyes Muslims are. The Jews regained only 20% of what was promised to by the Jewish Homeland legally every step of the way and made a gorgeous and righteous state. They were accepted by the UN body. It is the Muslims who covet what the Jews have created out of a wasteland. Israelis respect all religions in their homeland which Jordan never did.
So people like Qaradawi and Islam's extremism are in the way of a peaceful solution for Israel. In a February 21, 2011 interview with Al Jazeera TV, Qaradawi encouraged Libyan soldiers to assassinate Libyan President Mu'ammar Qaddafi. Now I wonder just who was behind the assassination of our American ambassador there recently. The USA is so close to Qatar politically and socially and Qaradawi is the Emir's religious spokesman and friend.
