Votes and What Presidents Will Give For Them: The Saudi-USA -Israel Peace Plan

It's not strange at all that Netanyahu's government today is made up of some powerful Orthodox Jews that are driving the rest of Israelis crazy, causing them to demonstrate over power of the Judicial section of government not being taken away.  This is a unique time, after all. Iran is a daily threat to their peace.  The threat is made up of atomic energy with possible atomic power aimed at Israel, the Abraham Accords centered with peace but along with a Gaza full of daily rockets into Israel;  the Messiah's visit, a promised possibility any second; Preparations and red Heifer for 3rd Temple; US social security checks under threat;  Climate change of extreme heat;  polar extremes of melting ice-stranded bears; UFO's spotted constantly and from where;   and both Trump and Biden under questioning as to their leadership- Trump with lying and conniving and Biden with hiding facts about his son.  Let's face it;  the world has become very messy and we people have a lot to worry about besides what to serve for dinner on a dime.

This is the first government with people in it that really care about defending Judea and Samaria.  It's the first who evidently has studied the history of Judea and Samaria and how it became Israel originally.  Tel Aviv was a late comer of this past century.  Jerusalem was the most important city in our history.

Israel faced with extending IDF to Judea and Samaria in defense

On June 20,4 Israelis were killed at a gas station in Eli, the "west bank." Today another 4 to 6 were killed at Ma'ale Adumim by a worker Palestinian who was liked by all his Israeli friends, but he turned terrorist and they can't understand it.  And so it goes.

Now with this peace initiative proposed by the Saudis, it hangs in jeopardy.  How will Netanyahu and the government react?  Surely, it means very little to Biden-not at the top of his list.  Being a Christian Irish-Catholic does not help him to endear Israeli beliefs.  He's been a politician since he became an adult, involved in the USA politics, wanting to be president, I feel.  Besides, he's busy with defending his connection to his son's business dealings with China and Ukraine, etc.  Trump gave to us already with his son-in-law in the lead.  Now all he wants are votes as he's running for president again with indictments against him-not in his way, I suppose.

  • The Saudis said publicly that normalization with Israel will take place only if there is progress on the Israeli-Palestinian peace process.  Progress means giving into the Palestinians on all counts, and that leads to the end of Israel.

So here is Saudi Arabia putting out a possible peace deal with both the USA and Israel, but it only benefits the Saudis and the Palestinians.  It's a dream proposal for the Palestinians, giving them everything they have wanted-Israel, in exchange for some peace.

The fear is that Biden is going along with it.  He would think this would be a plus in getting him votes.  We've already learned that Trump gave his all and more in getting votes.  Votes are whatever makes the Presidency go round;  not friendship nor promises.  Once they are a president, they are hooked like a dope addict wanting more.

Why wouldn't Biden win votes going along with Israel?  Trump was very disappointed after his work for Israel that he didn't earn many Jewish votes in reaction to it, even though most Jews are still Democrats.    We Jews only make up 2% of the US population.  They will figure we aren't worth the trouble.   Israel will be sacrificed.

Israel has been courting Saudi Arabia for many years already and are faced with a lot of no's.  As countries in the Middle East move to re-position themselves to face new perceived threats, a major new alliance, and one previously considered implausible, appears to be emerging. The conservative Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is signalling it can strike an unprecedented peace deal with Israel, a country that is still known in some Saudi books as the ‘Zionist Enemy’."  I heard that peace deal on the news this morning.  Some peace deal.

Another enemy of Saudi Arabia has been Iran.  They vie for Islamic power, each coming from a different relative of Mohammad.  "Recently, Saudi Arabia has made the shift to limit the threats it faces to no more than two enemies: Iran and Sunni Islamist political opposition. These happen to be seen as the two threats facing Israel as well. This has brought both countries to an unlikely alliance. In the words of an influential member of the Al Saud ruling family, Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, ‘For the first time, Saudi Arabian interests and Israel are almost parallel… It’s incredible.’"  But then again, they have thrown in the towel and are covering all the wants and desires of the Palestinians in this deal.  Just what do they figure Netanyahu will do?

Update on 2023 plan:  "Last week, New York Times columnist Thomas Friedman laid out a complex plan that he said Biden is pursuing to secure an Israeli-Saudi deal. It involves giving Saudi Arabia NATO-like security guarantees and helping the Gulf kingdom kick-start a civilian nuclear programme.  The framework would not directly involve the Palestinians, Friedman reported, but it would include some concessions to them, such as an Israeli settlement freeze and a pledge from Israel to never annex the occupied West Bank."  Friedman, in my opinion, has never been a zealot of Judea-Samaria.  To him these are just concessions, a word that lacks emotion, history, truth, a bartering term.  As I read the deal, it hasn't changed since Arabia's first peace deal.  He does ask a good question, though;  It's the US seeking this deal;  an Israel -Saudi normalization now.  Why?   The New York Times and the Wall Street Journal have previously reported, however, that Riyadh is seeking a security pact from Washington and a nuclear programme as part of any normalisation agreement with Israel.

The world should know that Israel has now existed for the past 75 years after the gauntlet of the League of Nations and the United Nations final blessing that didn't reach the Arab mind.  The reason Israel planted itself here is because it was their home before 70 AD (CE)  for 4,000 years and they were forced out and threatened with death by the Romans.  It will not happen again, no matter what. That's why we study history; so as to not make the same mistakes twice.
