The United States Secret Service is a federal law enforcement agency under the Department of Homeland Security charged with conducting criminal investigations and protecting U.S. political leaders, their families, and visiting heads of state or government.
The Secret Service is tasked with ensuring the safety of the president of the United States, the vice president of the United States, the president-elect of the United States, the vice president-elect of the United States, and their immediate families; former presidents, their spouses and their minor children under the age of 16; major presidential and vice-presidential candidates and their spouses; and visiting foreign heads of state and heads of government. By custom, it also provides protection to the secretary of the treasury and secretary of homeland security, as well as other persons as directed by the president (usually the White House chief of staff and national security advisor, among others). By federal statute, the president and vice-president may not refuse this protection
Until 2003, the Secret Service was part of the Department of the Treasury, as the agency was founded in 1865 to combat the then-widespread counterfeiting of U.S. currency.
The Secret Service special agent position is highly competitive. In 2011, the service accepted less than 1% of its 15,600 special agent applicants.
At a minimum, a prospective agent must be a U.S. citizen, possess a current valid driver's license, be in excellent health and physical condition, possess visual acuity no worse than 20/100 uncorrected or correctable to 20/20 in each eye, and be between age 21–37 at the time of appointment, but eligible veterans may apply past age 37.

She's telling about what she was told by a good friend. She was not in the car herself as a witness to it. The 25-year-old former White House aide testified in vivid detail about Donald Trump's rage in the final days of his term. But four years ago, she was eager to serve the president. “She was a member of the Trump administration and she is a Republican, but she puts people first,” said Garrett Robinson, who interned with Hutchinson in 2017 and later became her friend. “If there was any way she could have stopped any violence from occurring on Jan. 6, she would have done something.”
A problem today is that possibly Donald Trump may have had his own followers hired as Secret Servant Agents. Senior Secret Service agents are reportedly prepared to testify that Donald Trump did not lunge for the wheel of his vehicle or physically attack the chief of his security detail after his speech near the White House on January 6 – as a former aide said he did in sworn testimony on Tuesday.
Yet people such as Adam Kinzinger have said that they have witnesses backing up their last that was told by her friend that this had happened. She is very believable. Do we believe her or the Secret Service? As one member of The View said, "There are 365 days in a year. How could the Secret Service err with the computer and delete just those from the 5th and 6th of January?"
During these past 7 hearings about January 6th in Washington D.C. we now learn that the SECRET SERVICE DELETED JAN. 6 TEXT MESSAGES AFTER OVERSIGHT OFFICIALS REQUESTED THEM. A letter given to the January 6 committee says the erasure took place shortly after oversight officials requested the agency’s electronic communications. This is too too coincidental. The Secret Service should have had a back up of these e-mails to begin with. The only thing we can imagine is that a secret service agent is working for Trump and had deleted them. Could there be someone favoring Trump in the service?
By comparison, the Mossad is the Secret Service Agency for Israel and must cover all the work other agencies do in the USA. Mossad is the national intelligence agency of Israel. It is one of the main entities in the Israeli Intelligence Community, along with Aman (Israeli intelligence and Security) and Shin Bet (which takes its name from the Hebrew initials for General Security Services, conducts internal counterintelligence focused on potential sabotage, terrorist activities, and security matters of a strongly political nature..)Mossad is responsible for intelligence collection, covert operations, and counter-terrorism. Its director answers directly and only to the Prime Minister. Their lives are in danger most of the time.
Ziva David is a fictional character from the CBS television series NCIS, portrayed by actress Cote de Pablo. Ziva first appeared in the season 3 premiere episode, "Kill Ari", and became a regular cast member from the episode "Silver War".I hated to see she was no longer in the story. She was an icon for Mossad.
Prospective male and female applicants, 25 to 35 years old, are invited to fax their resumes and Israeli identity card numbers.
The advertisement's assertion that the Mossad is "opening up" may overstate things. Compared with the CIA or Britain's MI6, the Mossad has barely poked its head out of the cloakroom. Unlike the CIA, the Mossad has no listed telephone number. It has no Web site. It produces no press releases. It has no spokesman. And the Mossad most definitely does not brief journalists.
I happen to be a big fan of Daniel Silva's books about Gabriel Allon's world who is a major player in Mossad. Maybe we need a Mossad agent to figure out what happened to these emails from January 6th !
