General Michael Flynn Calling for 'One Nation Under One G0d"

      Born December 24, 1958, Flynn served as Trump’s first national security adviser until he resigned in February 2017, only 22 days into his tenure.  He resigned in light of reports that he had lied regarding conversations with Sergey Kislyak. Flynn's military career included a key role in shaping U.S. counterterrorism strategy and dismantling insurgent networks in the Afghanistan and Iraq Wars, and he was given numerous combat arms, conventional, and special operations senior intelligence assignments.

On November 13, 2021, Lt. General Michael Flynn made an astonished announcement to a far-right crowd in San Antonio, Texas.  What he said if found on YouTube, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_agYzCdCWzE.  He's calling for one religion under G-d.  This is presented by American Faith.com. for something called ReAwaken America.  The YouTube video is then cut off after making such an outlandish statement.                                                                           

This is scary.  One religion?  This country is made up of many religions.  Jews have been in the US since New York was called New Amsterdam, before 1776 when the country was born.  Isn't this why Pastor John Robinson and his group left England and migrated to Holland?  They did not want to worship the English tradition of Christianity.  They had their own ideas.  Then they saw that their children were speaking Dutch as their language and they spoke English, and so decided to join the other adventurers migrating to the new land of America and did so in 1620 on the ship, the Mayflower.  These were the Pilgrims, first people to set foot in a land already populated with natives that would be later called Native Americans.  

What did George Washington say about Jews?  Born February 22, 1732,  George was president from 1789 to1797.  He died December 14, 1799.  He welcomed Jews.                      

The original of Washington’s Letter to the Hebrew Congregations of Newport, Rhode Island is small in size, but its impact on American life is immense. In 340 well-chosen words, the Letter reassures those who had fled religious tyranny that life in their new nation would be different, that religious “toleration” would give way to religious liberty, and that the government would not interfere with individuals in matters of conscience and belief. Quoting the Bible’s Old Testament, Washington writes,

“every one shall sit in safety under his own vine and fig tree, and there shall be none to make him afraid.”

He continues:

For happily the Government of the United States gives to bigotry no sanction, to persecution no assistance, requires only that they who live under its protection should demean themselves as good citizens, in giving it on all occasions their effectual support.

When he wrote this particular letter in August of 1790, the new President must have been aware of the effect it would have on the fledgling nation. He could not have known the extent of its influence today. The history behind Washington’s Letter not only gives us an understanding of the values of the early colonists and our Founding Fathers, but also insight into two fundamental tenets of American democracy: the separation of church and state, and the right of individuals to believe in and practice their religion.

What has happened to Michael Flynn?  The forcibly retired lieutenant general declared that 'If we are going to have one nation under God, which we must, we have to have one religion'

He was born into an Irish Catholic family and was one of 9 children. His father was Charles Francis Flynn, a small town banker in Middletown, Rhode Island. While at Middletown High School, Flynn met Lori Andrade, daughter of a prominent Portuguese family on Aquidneck Island, whom he married in 1981.  He's a Democrat.  

In September 2011, Flynn was promoted to Lieutenant General and assigned as assistant director of national intelligence in the Office of the Director of National Intelligence.  

On April 17, 2012, President Barack Obama, president from 2009-2017,  nominated Flynn to be the 18th director of the Defense Intelligence AgencyHe simultaneously became commander of the Joint Functional Component Command for Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance, and chair of the Military Intelligence Board

In June 2013, Michael Flynn became the first U.S. officer to be allowed inside the Russian military intelligence (GRU) headquarters in Moscow, where he arrived at the invitation of the GRU chief General Igor Sergun. His follow-up trip to visit the GRU HQ as Director of DIA was not allowed. Flynn also wanted to invite high-ranking GRU officials to the U.S., but this idea was rejected by the director of national intelligence, James Clapper.

In February 2014, Stefan Halper found out that Flynn had a relationship with a Russian woman, thinking he was being compromised by the Russians. In August he had to take a forced retirement from the Army.  During his tenure he gave a lecture on leadership at the Moscow headquarters of the Russian military intelligence directorate GRU, the first American official to be admitted entry to the headquarters,

In December 2015, Flynn was paid $45,000 to deliver a Moscow speech at the ten-year anniversary celebration of RT, a state-controlled Russian international television network, where he sat next to Russian president Vladimir Putin at his banquet table.

In December 2017, Flynn formalized a deal with Special Counsel Robert Mueller to plead guilty to a felony count of "willfully and knowingly" making false statements to the FBI about the Kislyak communications, and agreed to cooperate with the Special Counsel's investigation. Dubbed "the diplomat's diplomat" by CNN, Kislyak was Russia's highest level presence in the U.S. during his nine-year tenure in Washington, D.C., a period of increasing political tension between the two countries. Kislyak became a key figure in the investigation of Russian interference in the 2016 United States elections, receiving significant media coverage while denying that Russia was behind the hacking of the Democratic National Committee. However, Kislyak's meetings with advisers to then President-elect Donald Trump became a subject of investigation by U.S. intelligence officials.

On May 10, 2017, Trump held a meeting with Kislyak and Sergei Lavrov and disclosed classified information about ISIS, an incident which was leaked to the press and became a scandal.

January 2020 Flynn moved to withdraw his guilty plea, claiming government vindictiveness and breach of the plea agreement. At Barr's direction, the Justice Department filed a court motion to drop all charges against Flynn on May 7, 2020.                                                

"On July 4, 2020, Flynn pledged an oath to the pro-Trump  QAnon conspiracy theory, and as Trump sought to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election in which he was defeated, Flynn suggested the president should suspend the Constitution, silence the press, and hold a new election under military authority.  Flynn later met with Trump and their attorney Powell in the Oval Office to discuss the president's options. Trump denied reports that Flynn's martial law idea had been discussed."

November 25, 2020, Flynn was issued a presidential pardon by Trump.  December 8, 2020, Judge Sullivan dismissed the criminal case against Flynn, stating he probably would have denied the Justice Department motion to drop the case.                                               

On January 6, 2021, QAnon attacked the Capital in Washington DC.

 On January 8, 2021, Twitter permanently banned Flynn, Powell and others who promoted QAnon.

Whatever caused Flynn to sign on with QAnon on July 4, last year?  How could this nice Catholic Lt. General do such a thing?  Comments are that he had connections right after Trump's 2016 victory.  Flynn had financial problems and evidently was making money off of QAnon and ditial soldiers merchandise.  

To go from a Lt General down to making money off of a horrible group that has no standards making up the USA is despicable.  

            QAnon is an American far-right political conspiracy theory  movement centered on false claims made by an anonymous individual or individuals, known by the name "Q".  They believe that a cabal of Satanic, cannibalistic pedophiles operate a global child sex trafficking ring that conspired against the former U.S. President Donald Trump during his term in office.  QAnon has been described as a cult.

QAnon supporters have reportedly gathered in Dallas, Texas, in anticipation of the return of John F. Kennedy Jr., who they believe will announce a 2024 presidential run alongside Donald Trump, despite being dead for 22 years—the latest crackpot claim from a movement that believes the world is run by a cabal of Satan-worshiping pedophiles.

How could the Republicans ever allow such a group as QAnon to be connected with someone from their party?  

  • Roughly half of respondents who agree with QAnon also agree that the rise of liberalism has enabled Jewish people to destroy institutions and take over the world.

  • Washington Post came out with Christian Nationalists, QAnon are both anti-Semitic.  

  • Update: Michael Flynn has a brother who is also a Lt. General.   "Washington (CNN)The Army is now acknowledging that Lt. Gen.
