Dealing with President Raisi of Iran About Their Nuclear Deal

 Nadene Goldfoot

"Sayyid Ebrahim Raisolsadati  born 14 December 1960), commonly known as Ebrahim Raisi ), is an Iranian hardline, ultra conservative Islamist, principlist politician, Muslim jurist, and the 8th and current president of Iran since 3 August 2021, having been elected to the presidency in the 2021 Iranian presidential election He'll be 61 in a month.

Joe Biden, born November 20, 1942, has been a politician most of his life, deferred from army due to asthma,  but a lawyer  in 1969;  first as a Jr. Senator in 1972, then Vice President from 2009 to 2017 under Obama.  His decisions are much like a 3rd term of Obama, after 8 years under him.  On withdrawal from Afghanistan, "By early July, most American troops in Afghanistan had withdrawn. Biden addressed the withdrawal in July, saying, "The likelihood there's going to be the Taliban overrunning everything and owning the whole country is highly unlikely."  Biden was consistently ranked one of the least wealthy members of the Senate, which he attributed to his having been elected young.  The political writer Howard Fineman has written, "Biden is not an academic, he's not a theoretical thinker, he's a great street pol.  He'll be 79 years old  in a few days and has a stuttering problem.

He was one of the four people on the prosecution committee, which was responsible for the execution of thousands of political prisoners in Iran in 1988 and is hence labeled the "death committee" by the government's opponents and some in the western media.

He is accused of crimes against humanity by international human rights organizations and United Nations special rapporteurs.   According to many observers, the 2021 Iranian presidential election were rigged in favour of Raisi, who is considered a hardline ally of Ali Khamenei. "

Considering the 2 Ayatollas who are real rulers behind the Iranian
presidents, Ali Khamenei  has been calling all the shots, including  rigging
their voting process.

A formal request had been made to arrest the Raisi for crimes against humanity if he attends the 2021 United Nations Climate Change Conference in Scotland.  Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi did not attend: a formal request had been made by Struan Stevenson and an Iranian exiles of the National Council of Resistance of Iran to the Scotland police, to arrest Raisi for crimes against humanity if he attended based on the legal concept of universal jursidiction.

Who from the USA will be able to stand up to this Iranian president in any meetings about Iran and its program of using uranium?  The 60-year-old, who takes office on 5 August, presented himself as the best person to combat corruption and solve the economic problems Iran has experienced under the outgoing President, Hassan Rouhani.

Biden has made clear his desire to find a path to salvage the nuclear accord with Iran that was negotiated by the Obama administration. Still, indirect talks between the US and Iran have stalled, and Washington continues to maintain crippling sanctions on the country.  “The United States remains committed to preventing Iran from gaining a nuclear weapon,” Biden said in his own UN speech, delivered in person earlier on Tuesday.

In his remarks, Raisi also railed at Israel, whose destruction Iranian leaders regularly call for.

“The occupier Zionist regime is the organizer of the biggest state terrorism, whose agenda is to slaughter women and children,” he claimed.

He denounced the blockade of the Gaza Strip, which Israel says is needed to prevent arms from reaching Palestinian terror groups in the coastal enclave, some of which receive support from Tehran.

“An all-out blockade has turned Gaza into the biggest prison in the world,” he said.

Raisi also said that the “deal of the century failed,” referring to the Trump administration’s Israeli-Palestinian peace proposal.

It's the usual slander against Jews and Israel that we hear and could debate and have over and over again. The trouble is that there are so many naive and prejudiced people who go along with it, and so Raisi uses it to his advantage.
