Salaries of USA Officials: Iran's Moves in 15 Years

Nadene Goldfoot
Ted Cruz, Jr. Senator
Marco Rubio, Jr. Senator
Bernie Sanders, Jr. Senator
The Senators in the USA, a country of 323,406,102 people,  from 2009 to 2014,  made $174,000 per annum.

A Public school teacher retiree who had taught from 1958 to 1980 is receiving about $12,000 per year in Social Security.  Leaders in the Senate and House make a little more than Senators.  Below is the chart.

Obama and Netanyahu disagreeing on Iran Deal.
The President of the USA makes $400,000

"Since 2001, the president has earned a $400,000 annual salary, along with a $50,000 annual expense account, a $100,000 nontaxable travel account, and $19,000 for entertainment. The most recent raise in salary was approved by Congress and President Bill Clinton in 1999 and went into effect in 2001."
PositionSalary
Vice President$233,000
Delegates to the House of Representatives$174,000
Resident Commissioner from Puerto Rico$174,000
President pro tempore of the Senate$193,400
Majority leader and minority leader of the Senate$193,400
Majority leader and minority leader of the House of Representatives$193,400
Speaker of the House of Representatives$223,500

There is a huge disparity between government officials and the man in the USA as far as finances go. The USA happens to be the 3rd largest country in the world.  The land mass is " 9,155,898 Km2 or 3,535,111 square miles. 92 million Americans are not in the labor force.  Of these, 41 million are retirees.  The wealthy ones have a nice income, but those on Social Security are barely eking by.  This means 51 million have no income and are either students or are looking for jobs.  They've been doing it for a long time.  Many are angry.  They can't find jobs.

We have about 6 million Jews in the USA population which is 2%.  Jews in the world number about 14 million today or 0.02% of the world population. Of those, 6 million are Israelis.    "Pew Research Center estimates that there were about 3.3 million Muslims of all ages living in the United States in 2015. This means that Muslims made up about 1% of the total U.S. population (about 322 million people in 2015), and we estimate that that share will double by 2050."

"A forecast for 2050 provides a high-probability scenario of about 20 million Jews in Israel and in the world, compared to a low-probability scenario of 14 million. According to a mid-probability scenario of 17 million, in 2050 the Jewish people will be able to return to its proportions before the Holocaust."

We had 17 people throw their hat into the ring vying  for Presidential candidate from the Republican party, and only 2 from the Democratic party because it was a foregone conclusion that Hillary would be the next president.  After all, her husband was the famous Bill Clinton, 42nd president of the USA from 1993 to 2001.  He was from the Democratic Party.  Barack Hussein Obama II, also a Democrat,  was the 44th USA President from 2009 to 2012 and a 2nd term from 2012 to 2016.   Now it looks like Donald Trump is leading as the Republican with Hillary leading from the Democrats unless there is an upset.

Prime Minister Netanyahu of Israel's salary in shekels amounts to about $120,000 dollars a year. His salary is based on a 42 hr week and his net amount is equivalent to $4,500 per month.   The average salary in Israel is about $2,500.  48% of his money goes to taxes.   Israel is the size of the smallest state of the USA and has 6 million Jews and 1.7 million Arabs with a total of 7.7 million. The land mass is 8,000 square miles.

For comparison,  the Prime Minister of Singapore's salary was $2.18 million per year in 2012.  It is an island nation of a Muslim majority with 5,399 million people, mostly Chinese.

"Chancelor Merkel of Germany makes $234,383 per year." Germany "The territory of Germany covers 357,021 km2 (137,847 sq mi), consisting of 349,223km2 (134,836 sq mi) of land and 7,798 km2 (3,011 sq mi) of waters. The population is 80.62 million.

China's leader, Xi Jinping,  makes $22,000 per year.

In 2012, "Ministers, MKs and other senior civil servants  enjoyed additional NIS 1,000 per month as of January 1, despite soaring prices and lay-offs. At that time, "Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, for instance, who currently earned NIS 46,000 (roughly $11,850) a month, is expected to get an additional NIS 1,150 (roughly $300), President Shimon Peres' monthly NIS 52,050 (roughly $13,400) will likely grow by NIS 1,562 (roughly $402); and MK Shaul Mofaz is set to receive an additional NIS 1,043 (roughly $270) on top of his monthly NIS 41,730 (roughly $ 10,750).

By 2015, "Netanyahu made 43,952.29 NIS (New Israel Sheqel) per month, a pay slip posted on Facebook by the Prime Minister's office revealed on Monday.  It's less than in 2012.  After taxes, health insurance and social security payments, as well as a 11,590 NIS monthly deduction for his armored car, the pay slip revealed that Netanyahu earned a net income of NIS 15,027.43.==

Trump is a billionaire.  He probably will earn less if he becomes president than he would if he stayed in business.  Even he realizes that the USA is not the center of products anymore in manufacturing.  We rarely see clothing made in the USA.  He's not a lawyer but has had to produce.  He produces hotels all over the world.  He's a doer, and debating was not a part of his education, obviously.  Many think this is the best of  presidential requirements.  When lawyers speak, their words are usually guarded.  Trump is a conversationalist.  He just talks and talks.  He's libel to say anything in any manner just to keep a person's interest.  That might all be part of making a deal.  So far, it's been working for him. Because he hasn't followed the etiquette rules in the unpublished book of How to Run for President, people are becoming enraged.  He had to cancel a rally in Chicago yesterday  and rioters from Sanders' Democrats had to be thrown out this afternoon in another gathering for rioting while he was speaking.  The Democrats may have subdued boring debates, but they sure know how to ruin someone's rally in a very noisy manner.

The thing that people may be following DONALD TRUMP for,  is his reaction to the Iran deal that John Kerry made for the USA.  It was so bad that Netanyahu risked receiving disparaging words coming from Israel's voters by coming to the USA and telling the Senate why it was a bad deal, not only for Israel but for the USA as well.  Anywhere from 12 to 15 years, it's possible that both countries will be in danger from nuclear missiles being shot into both countries from Iran.  He's surprised that Kerry didn't insist on getting back the American prisoners that Iran is holding.  Most all the Republican candidates  see the Iran deal as a terrible deal, but the voters may be seeing Trump as the  better deal maker.  After all, he wrote a book about it- THE ART OF THE DEAL."

2015: "An agreement with Iran is a "mistake of historic proportions" said Netanyhu.

Netanyahu called the latest nuclear deal between Iran and the P5+1

a mistake of historic proportions. He also stated that Israel is not

bound by this agreement and will defend itself in case of Iranian

aggression."

From the Navy comes the report that " Iranian rockets launched near the American ship, Truman, and other warships.  They have a video of it.  It is an Iranian military vessel firing several unguided rockets near the aircraft carrier Harry S. Truman and other Western warships and commercial craft. The incident occurred Dec. 26 in the Strait of Hormuz. This was against the rules of the deal.  Are the rules being ignored?

Shahab 3 missile from Iran-15 years from now, what will be going on?
Democrats think Iran will go through a metamorphosis of becoming a normal nation.
4 days ago, a report came in that Iran launched ballistic missiles during a military exercise". "The missiles had ranges of between 300 and 2,000 kilometers (185-1,250 miles), Gen. Amir Ali Hajizadeh, head of the Guard's aerospace division, said, according to the state news agency IRNA."

Our senators and government officials are paid well.  Are they doing the best for us in protecting our lives?  How will the next batch coming up from the election in November going to do?  Are we getting the best for our money?   Is it really Wall Street we must fear or is it lazy thinking and political arm wrestling that appears to be going on in Washington?  "Wall Street is the name used to describe the place in New York City where much of the United States' financial industry is concentrated. The name "Wall Street" is also used frequently used to describe the financial services industry, generally."  People who do have a little money to invest do it here and other places.

Obama boasted CHANGE' in his bid for the presidency.    He has certainly given us lots of changes.
