Andrew J. Stein: Democrat, Leader of Democrats For Trump

Nadene Goldfoot

Andrew J. Finkelstein b: March 4, 1945
A miracle has happened this morning.  Andrew J. "Finkelstein"  Stein has stepped up to the plate and announced that he's a Democrat  on Trump's side.  I wondered if anyone would see today's history in a different light.  He has been and has decided to form the group of Democrats on Trump's side--Democrats For Trump.

What makes him more reasonable?  He's " a politician who served on the New York City Council and was its last president, and as Manhattan Borough President.  When he stepped into politics, he changed his surname from Finkelstein to Stein.  His father was Jerry Finkelstein, born Albert Finkelstein and mother was Shirley Marks who married in 1942." He was well known for his series of public hearings into the management practices of nursing homes in the state" of New York.

He's a leader in politics.  "As city council president, Stein served as the presiding officer of the city council, was acting mayor in the absence or disability of Mayor Edward I. Koch, was a voting member of the New York City Board of Estimate, and handled constituent and policy issues. Stein derived most of his power from his seat on the Board of Estimate, which was made up of the mayor, the city comptroller and the city council president, each of whom had two votes, and the five borough presidents, each with one vote.  Stein was re-elected City Council President in 1989."

"Stein retired from the city council presidency and from public life in the city. Since leaving office, he has pursued private business as a partner in Arapaho Partners, LLC, a business consulting firm based in New York City."  He hasn't kept  all his friendships Democrats.  He dated the famous conservative, Ann Coulter, so must have at least listened to some of her opinions.  I'm glad he didn't date Debbie Wasserman Schultz of Florida!  Or maybe he did!  I don't know.

In November 2016, Stein had said to a NY magazine, the Wall Street Journal in an op ed that he endorsed Trump though he was a Democrat.  "“I believe my party has become the party of the elites and moneyed class and has deserted its historic mission as the party of the working class and disadvantaged.” Therefore, he argues, “I believe Donald Trump will make a great president and I ask my fellow Democrats to vote for him.” His father must have been of the opinion as my father had been about the Democrat Party.  Most Jewish families had grown up thinking this and have been Democrat supporters as they have remained so .  It's been ingrained in us to be Democrats, in my opinion, since our parents felt they owed so much to Franklin Delano Roosevelt for taking their parents in as refugees escaping Hitler.  He said i;n 2016, "I have been steeped in the Democratic Party all my life. My father, Jerry, was a New York City Democratic chairman and power broker, and I grew up in and around the Democratic Party. "

Yet this was announced today that Stein is now the leader of Democrats for Trump, so he hadn't changed his opinion.  Now he's going to try to do something about the situation of Democrats nay-saying Trump regardless of what it's about.  Our country has never been so divided since the Civil War of the 1860s.  Never before have our values been so different, either.

Andrew,  "a lifelong New York Democrat, explained to Neil Cavuto why he is separating from many in his party to support Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump."

He defends Trump of the accusations made by the Left.  " He refutes the charge that Trump is a racist by asserting, “Donald Trump is no racist,” a defense that may not fully address every concern on this front. His affirmative case for Trump states, “He is for strong pro-growth policies like reducing the marginal and corporate tax rates and eliminating thousands of job-killing and business-stifling regulations, the biggest of which is ObamaCare.”

"The country is not only divided, it is separated. For decades, researchers pointed out that shifting demographics—including the tendency among those with advanced degrees to move away from where they grew up—our communities have grown more ideologically homogenous. "

From the looks of the situation as it stands today, Andrew might be the only person in his group.  I hope it grows.  People have dug down as if they are defending their choice of football groups.

Comparing Salary of Israel's Prime Minister to Salary of USA President

Nadene Goldfoot
During Trump's Inauguration: picture in Trump Tower
Both men belong to political parties on the right; Trump with Republicans and Netanyahu to Likud.   They both have a hard time with their country's left-winged media.

Why compare the salaries of two heads of states of a big country and a teeny country?  It happens that this teeny country is in the news almost as much as the big country, and its health affects the health of the other.  The heads of state work about as much as each other and have to make extremely difficult and important decisions that affect each other.  Like Mutt and Jeff, they are intertwined as two Democratic countries facing serious problems.

"According to Title 3 of the US Code, the US President "shall earn" a salary of $400,000, along with a $50,000 annual expense account, a $100,000 nontaxable travel account, and $19,000 for entertainment. Like most employees, the president receives benefits in addition to a salary."  The supplemental amounts add up to $169,000 so total income each year is $569,000.  "

Israelis are paid in shekels
1 shekel =$0.29 today
"Netanyahu  makes over $12,000, but takes home only $4,500."

President Trump is refusing his salary except for $1.00 insisted on by law,  and is donating it instead. He is a billionaire who wanted to be President.

" In the first fiscal quarter of the year, he donated his pay to the Department of the Interior "for construction and repair needs at military cemeteries."  Here on Memorial day in Los Angeles we see the grave markers of soldiers.

" He" has donated his third-quarter presidential salary to the Department of Health and Human Services’ efforts to combat the opioid crisis, the department and the White House announced Thursday".

"On July 26th, for the second quarter in a row, President Donald Trump declined to take a salary and opted instead to gift the quarterly installment to a government entity, this time to the Department of Education, hosting a camp for science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) students at the Department of Education.

When his term is over, he will continue to receive a bonus.   "Presidents are still on government payroll, which includes an annual pension of about $200,000, healthcare, paid official travel, and an office."  Obama resides right in Washington DC and has an office.

Michelle Obama's staff has been pared down for Melania Trump
New projections show the four-year savings on White House payroll could top $22 million, Forbes reports, citing "savings come from President Trump’s refusal to take a salary as well as big reductions in other areas including the absence of czars, expensive 'fellowships,' and spending on FLOTUS staff."

One reason for this is that Trump's staff is 110 less in the White House than Obama had.  He's trimmed his own expenses.

Israel's finances are most stringent.  It is Netanyahu's wife, Sarah,  who is always in trouble over their finances from the Israeli government.  She's been charged for fraud, over having lavish dinner parties.  She even had hired private chefs!  This money is said to have come out of public funds.  The total she is charged for is $110,000.  Someone or some group is out to get Bibi and Sarah as he is also " implicated with an inner-circle of associates in a series of cases relating to fraud, bribery and corruption."

This information was reported by  Haaretz In this scandal, it was Netanyahu's right-hand man who resigned as the Coalition Whip because of a corruption probe going on by the opposing party.  Haaretz newspaper is known  as a left-wing newspaper with liberal stances on domestic and foreign issues."  It would be the Labor Party's spokesman's newspaper.  "Andrea Levin, executive director of the American pro-Israel Committee for Accuracy in Middle East Reporting (CAMERA), said the newspaper was doing "damage to the truth" and sometimes making serious factual errors but not often correcting them.

At the end of October, Sarah Netanyahu was facing allegations of being too tough a taskmaster in her household with the staff.  This comes from a former housecleaner.

Netanyahu and his wife have a tense relationship with the Israeli media, which they have both described as biased against them. In January, Netanyahu described the media as "left-wing" and "Bolshevik" and said they were out to bring him down.  The USA has been equally hard on Netanyahu, also.

The Israel Hayom is a newspaper that shows favoritism towards Netanyahu and is the most popular one read pehaps because its free.  The Jerusalem Post is in English.
In 2011, Horovitz was succeeded by the paper's former managing editor, Steve Linde, who aimed to retain the paper's political moderation and balance. Yaakov Katz succeeded Linde in 2016.

"Netanyahu  makes over $12,000, but takes home only $4,500."  But after income, national health insurance and social security tax deductions and vehicle expenses, the prime minister’s net monthly income stood at NIS 17,600 ($4,500) for the month of February.

He pays $3,200 per month towards his own armored car.  The PMO explained Netanyahu had little say in the monthly NIS 12,440 ($3,200) expense for his armored car, because it was in line with Shin Bet security standards."

President Trump will travel in an upgraded and armored version of the Cadillac-branded limousine.  It was used by former President Barack Obama. The Beast, as it is called, was ready  by his inauguration.

Devin Nunes, R-Calif., indicates that Ohr met during the 2016 campaign with Christopher Steele, the former British spy who authored the “dossier.”"

Players in The Real Russian Collusion Story That's Bigger Than Watergate

Nadene Goldfoot
The Players:

1. Robert Mueller: former FBI Director, the  Special Counsel, appointed by The Department of Justice, to oversee the federal investigation into Russia’s alleged influence on the presidential election

decided to obtain tens of thousands of emails from the Trump transition team, investigating collusion with Russia during election if swayed by Russians against Hillary Clinton.  "he kept the Russian bribery plot quiet so that Hillary Clinton could get richer and keep her presidential aspirations intact." "given wide berth to carry out his investigation, and he expanded the probe to look into whether Trump obstructed justice with Comey’s firing." "Mueller’s friendship with Comey is “very bothersome.” The two were former colleagues at the Justice Department." "Republican, he was appointed by President George W. Bush and his original ten-year term was given a two-year extension by President Barack Obama, making him the longest-serving FBI director since J. Edgar Hoover."

2. Peter Strzok, FBI agent: a senior FBI official who oversaw the Hillary Clinton email investigation, brought in by Mueller to help manage his investigation into Russian election meddling,
Then  Removed  "from Mueller’s probe after it was discovered that he allegedly exchanged anti-Trump texts with another FBI lawyer." "Strzok referred to Trump as an "idiot." In another, he said Clinton should win the election "100 million to zero." But some Republicans have focused on another message that they suggest signals something more sinister than political bias.  "phrase-we can't take that risk  having an insurance policy.

3. Christopher Wray, FBI Director; defended the removal of Peter Strzok during  a hearing before the House Judiciary Committee on Dec. 7, FBI .

5. John Podesta   is a columnist and former chairman of the 2016 Hillary Clinton presidential campaign. He previously served as chief of staff to President Bill Clinton and Counselor to President Barack Obama. John founded the Center for Americn Progress (CAP), a liberal think tank and advocacy organization. He is ultimate Washington insider.  Wikileaks dumped the John Podesta emails late in the campaign.  That no longer matters as groups can find and read them today.

"– released in July 2016 ahead of the Democratic National Convention – purportedly showed the party favoring Clinton over Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders and led to the resignation of party chair Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz."

11. Bill Clinton: ", tried to get permission to meet with Russian nuclear officials while the Uranium One deal was being approved by the Obama administration and his own wife, Sec. of State.  That deal gave control of 20 percent of America’s Uranium supply to Russia.", "got $500,000 for a speech in Moscow. That was twice his normal speaking fee, and the check was cut from a bank that had an interest in the Uranium One deal. While in Moscow, the former president sought to meet with Russian nuclear officials. He had to ask his own wife's State Department for permission, but wound up meeting directly with Vladimir Putin and corrupt banking officials instead

12. President Donald Trump The White House has denied that Trump was attempting to influence the FBI director, is bothered by Mueller and Comey's friendship who were co-workers in Justice Departments. But days later, Trump alluded that he had considered the Russian investigation when he fired Comey.

"claimed that Trump  asked FBI to drop its investigation into Flynn during a February meeting." ", confirmed that he had reassured Trump repeatedly that he was not under investigation by the FBI." Bewildered his own FBI agents because he refused to bring charges against Hillary Clinton in the email scandal.
18. FBI- Federal Bureau of Investigation:  "witness accounts that the Russian nuclear officials working on behalf of Vladimir Putin and Russia and Moscow were engaging in bribery. "Politico published a bombshell report over the weekend, offering meticulous detail on how the Obama administration killed intelligence and law enforcement agency efforts to shut down Hezbollah’s narco-terror network. 33. The Law:  lobbyists in the United States who worked for foreign entities must register with the Department of Justice and disclose what they are doing.

Dan Rather, former host on CBS News,  is saying that with Flynn found guilty, this could be a bigger scandal against the Republicans than Watergate was.  Isn't that strange?  Hannity on Fox News said the very same thing about the Democrats with all their connections to Russia, before Trump even ran.
